One Journey: Stitching Stories Across the Mexican “American” Border is the story of a young woman coming of age through fences, concrete, citizenship, immigration policy and the booby traps of the United States/Mexico borderland of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Through this Journey she attempts to stitch the border wound of her identity, family and community back together.
